Investing in Art
How does one invest in art? Find something that is “undervalued”.
The art market has a tendency to gloss over some highly influential and talented artists. Savvy art investors know how to spot a collection or artist who has yet to be discovered by the elites, and invest in the original paintings while they are underpriced. A successful art collector is then poised to brag about their beautiful collection, and with that popularity comes an increase in value.
Undervalued Artist Spotlight: Michelle’s Medical Art
She’s a nurse by training, and a talented self-taught artist. Her medical surrealism collection explores burnout in the bright fluorescent lights of the operating room.
Original paintings are currently < $1,000 each.
Is art still worth investing in?
Investing in art is better than investing in Dogecoin. NFTs are also worth investing in if you're investing for the long-haul. It's easy to buy an NFT on a platform like OpenSea, from artists who have fans in the physical world but are still growing an audience in the digital world. Michelle Ogorzalek, of MichellesMedicalArt, is one such artist, growing from traditional paintings to digital art.
GME stock was fun, AMC stock was like a nice boost for the underdogs, but NFT art is where the real action is.
Everyone seems to think the stock prices of healthcare companies are going up. "HCA stock is going to skyrocket", "CVS stock is going up", "Stryker stock is about to do..." et cetera.
This seems logical on the surface, but the secret is it's MUCH wiser to invest your money in art or even an NFT or two instead of X healthcare share price, from a conglomerate of facilities that are actually shelling out huge amounts of money to keep travel nurses on staff. Needless to say, this is an extremely unsustainable model. Do not invest in hospitals hoping to secure a large ROI. Healthcare is breaking. The healthcare system in the US is buckling, and I wouldn't bet on it.
Why do people buy art? Why do people invest in art?
Investing in the arts is historically a wise move, and that continues to hold true. Both physical and digital art serve as excellent investment opportunities for the future. Secure your investment today.
